My parents believed very strongly in music as entertainment and a teaching tool. I grew up surrounded by art in general but music plays a huge role in my memories as a child. Whether it was listening to the Eagles and the Beach Boys at the beach with my family or listening to jazz with my parents in the living room. So music has been with me since I was young. I took piano lessens for five years and moved onto guitar. I also learned how to play some banjo and harmonica. It seems like I enjoyed whatever made a racket. That’s still true to this day.
